  • 1 cup Pulp of Ripe Mango
  • 1 cup Besan
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Ghee
  • 10 Kaju
  • 10 Pista
  • 6 Elaichi

Instructions

Recipe - Step by Step Guide to Make Mango Besan Burfi

  • To make gram flour and Mango barfi, first roast the gram flour.
  • Put 1/3 cup of ghee in a pan and when it becomes hot, add a cup of gram flour to it and fry it on a low flame until it turns brown. Once gram flour is roasted well, take it out in a vessel.
  • Now put one cup mango pulp and 3/4 sugar in a pan and cook until it becomes thick.
  • Once the mango pulp becomes thick, add gram flour, cashew nuts, cardamom and fry till the burfi reach to consistency.
  • Now Take a plate and cover it with ghee than spread the batter of burfi in it. S
  • pread chopped cashews and pistachios on top of the batter, press the burfi lightly and keep it to cool for 7 to 8 hours.
  • Once the barfi is frozen, cut it into pieces of your choice and heat the plate slightly from the bottom so that the barfi comes out easily, this burfi can be eaten by keeping it in the fridge for a month.

Notes

Suggestion:
If the color of your mango is white, then you can add yellow food color to it.
You can spread any dry fruit of your choice.
To check the consistency of mango pulp, you can try putting a little burfi batter in a bowl.
